We work like the outcome was needed yesterday aka Get Shit Done
To our clients
- We are proud to offer a premium service that meets all of our clients' needs. Communication is key, and our team is committed to responding to every client (or candidate) promptly and professionally.
- We understand the importance of acknowledging our clients' feedback and ensuring that their needs are met in a timely manner. Our goal is to find the best candidate for them as quickly as its realistically possible, and if that timeline is one week, we guarantee to deliver within a week. In essence, we are always available to support our clients.
To each other:
- In order to help each other deliver a premium service, we are responsive to one another. This doesn’t mean dropping our work and prioritizing others (context switching costs). This means that we acknowledge requests, are up front on what’s realistic and keep people updated.
- Every decision should be made within the most optimal time. Decisions that are low impact and reversible should be delegated and made quickly. Decisions that are high impact are non-reversible and require time spent but this is time spent with a clear outcome. Coupled with the OKR framework, we will ensure that optimal urgency is made on all decisions. Everything we do should be considered against a clock. Time moves fast and we expect to grow as fast as we are able to.
Total honesty, for better, for worse
We confront ****the brutal facts always. Believing that the truth is the only way to the right outcome. If a candidate turned out to be no good, we don’t hide it. If the search is tougher than expected, we are up front and honest. We will trust ourselves to deliver in the quickest time possible but communicate issues quickly.
To each other
- We are open and honest with our feedback to each other, both positive and negative. This doesn’t mean we hurl insults at one another, but if somebody does a bad piece of work, we don’t falsely congratulate them, we bring it to attention in a constructive manner, and immediately
- You may take this person to one side and say something like “I can see you put a lot of time into this but I don’t think what was delivered meets our standards. I really want to help you get there so why don’t we x, y, z’
- Politics will not be tolerated at this company. Everyone operates in terms of what’s best for the business at large, not what’s best for themselves. If there is a situation or a mechanism that makes this difficult, we will bring this to the leadership’s attention for a quick resolution
- In the same way, when somebody does a great job, lets call it out for what it is and celebrate every great piece of work
- Immediate feedback*
